NYPD: Man injured in Brownsville shooting; gunman at large

Police say the victim was hospitalized in stable condition and is expected to be OK.

A shooting Monday in Brownsville left one man injured, according to police.
Authorities say shots rang out around 7 p.m. at 50 Legion St. between Pitkin and Sutter avenues.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim wounded. He was hospitalized in stable condition and is expected to be OK.
No arrests have been made as of Tuesday afternoon. Anyone with information is urged to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
