Sen. Richard Blumenthal will attend the "No Kings" rallies against President Donald Trump across Connecticut today.
The rallies come after nationwide protests of ICE raids and the Trump administration's policies, according to officials.
"These folks who are out today, and many more all around the state of Connecticut and the country, are saying, 'Enough is enough!'," said Sen. Blumenthal. "They want to preserve democracy against the threats they are seeing every day and I'm seeing it in Washington; I am so grateful and glad that Connecticut is rising up at these rallies."
Officials say the National Day of Action also protests against President Trump's birthday, the same day as the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army military parade in Washington D.C on June 14.
