Polls open for early voting in New York City primary

Early voting will be available in hundreds of locations across the city for the next week ahead of Primary Day on June 24.

Saturday marked the first chance for New York City residents to cast their primary election ballots for mayor, borough president, comptroller, public advocate and City Council.
Early voting will be available in hundreds of locations across the city for the next week ahead of Primary Day on June 24.
New York City participates in ranked-choice voting, meaning residents can rank up to five candidates in order of preference.
The city’s Board of Elections has a website dedicated to your early voting and Election Day voting location, along with hours of operation.
