Police are asking for help identifying a person they say is connected to a hit-and-run that left an officer hurt in Williamsburg.
It happened Saturday night near Wallabout Street and Broadway.
Officials say officers had pulled over a white Infiniti when things suddenly escalated.
As they approached the car, the driver hit the gas — slamming into two police vehicles.
Investigators say the driver then reversed and struck an officer before speeding away down Wallabout Street.
The officer suffered leg injuries and was taken to the hospital. He is expected to be OK.
Police have now released images of the person they are trying to find. The video shows that person walking on a sidewalk, last seen wearing all black.
Anyone who recognizes the person is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
