An overturned vehicle caused major traffic delays on the FDR Drive Tuesday morning near 14th Street.

According to the NYPD, the crash forced the closure of the right and center northbound lanes approaching 14th Street.

Emergency response activity also impacted traffic on the southbound side of the highway.

Drivers experienced significant backups in both directions as crews responded to the scene.

Officials have not released information on what caused the vehicle to overturn, and no injuries have been reported.
