Several major airlines are offering Spirit Airlines customers rebooking options.
United Airlines issued a statement saying, "We know the changes at Spirit may disrupt your travel plans and want to help. For Spirit customers who had tickets to fly between May 02, 2026 and May 16, 2026, we’re capping fares on most one-way United flights where Spirit also flew."
Spirit customers wishing to rebook with United can go

JetBlue is also stepping in to assist stranded Spirit customers.
They are offering $99 one-way fares to individuals with proof of a valid Spirit itinerary for the same route of travel through May 6. Customers should call 1-800-JETBLUE for more information.
"With major operations in Fort Lauderdale and San Juan, we’re in a unique position to help Spirit customers get where they need to go and ensure flights remain affordable despite greater demand,” said Joanna Geraghty, chief executive officer, JetBlue.
Starting May 4th, customers can rebook with JetBlue
here.
Delta also responds, saying that the airline is "offering reduced, nonrefundable rescue fares in affected markets over the next five days to help travelers book last-minute travel, with availability even on flights that are close to full to provide more options even when space may be limited."
Travelers can access these "rescue flights" on the Delta Airlines website.
