NYPD vehicles were set on fire in Brooklyn for the second time in less than a week.

The NYPD released new information about a suspect they’re for whom they're searching.

Last week, 11 NYPD vehicles were torched on Dekalb Avenue in Bushwick. Police said both marked and unmarked cars were destroyed in the fire, causing more than $800,000 in damage.

The NYPD has now identified the suspect in that incident as 21-year-old Jakhi Lodgson-McCray.

Police said he has prior arrests in the city, including for damaging a statue at Columbia University and resisting arrest during a protest in recent years.

Another NYPD van was found burnt outside 426 Union Ave. in Williamsburg just after 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said a fire starter was used, like last week’s arson, but from a different brand. The van was assigned to a Transit Task Force.

“It’s not just an attack on the NYPD, but an attack on the people of Bushwick itself,” said NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny. “Several residents there sustained damage due to this fire.”

Police said there is no evidence connecting the two fires at this time, but the investigation remains ongoing.
