Police have arrested a nanny in connection to the abuse caught on video of young children in her custody in Morrisania.
Lakeysha Jackson, 24, of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with four counts of assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
The incident was caught on camera back in May.
Police have been searching for Jackson for over a month. During Wednesday's hearing, it was revealed that the 24-year-old has been hiding out at her parents' house in Brooklyn. Both her mom and stepfather are accused of blocking police from entering the residence.
She pleaded not guilty and was granted bail of $75,000 or $150,000bond. Her attorney said she and her family will not be able to afford that.
The next hearing is set for Aug.12.
