New York City will be under a Winter Operations Advisory starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday.

The agency made the announcement in a post on X, saying that a coating of snow may lead to icy conditions.

Salt spreaders are prepared for roadways and bike lanes.

Trash, compost and recycling collections are in progress. However, it is possible that services may be delayed until after snow operations.

DSNY urges residents to avoid the roads during active precipitation.
