Incumbent Council Member Mercedes Narcisse and Dimple Willabus will go head to head in the race for City Council District 46.

Willabus is a mother, a small business owner and former Community Education Council president. Willabus tells News 12 that she hopes to bring what she calls "real, on-the-ground representation" to the district.

Narcisse has represented the district since 2022. During her time in office, she says she has prioritized long-standing issues her constituents care about, including gun violence.
