Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a person who they say stole $1,700 from a man’s bank account in Sunset Park.
The 38-year-old victim received an alert that an unauthorized withdrawal was made at the Chase Bank on 8th Avenue and 55th Street, according to investigators.
The suspect was caught on camera taking the cash before fleeing the scene.
Authorities urge anyone with additional information to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
