The NYPD is investigating a report that three men were seen emerging from a sewer through a manhole in Bensonhurst early Friday morning.

Police say they received a report around 4:30 a.m. of three people exiting a manhole near Bay Ridge Parkway and 17th Avenue.

When officers arrived, the manhole was closed and no one was found at the scene.

The incident echoes similar reports News 12 covered earlier this year, when two groups were seen emerging from manholes in Williamsburg and Gravesend.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
