New York has been ranked the worst state in the country for physicians in a new WalletHub report.

The study compared states using factors such as annual wages and hospitals per person.

New York landed at the bottom of the national list, just behind New Jersey, which was ranked second worst.

Montana and Indiana took the top spots for physicians, according to the report.
