A man was pistol-whipped and shot at inside a building in Bushwick, authorities say.

The chaos unfolded at 1185 Bushwick Ave. just after 7 p.m. Friday.

Police say the 44-year-old was struck in the head with a gun by someone he knew.

The assailant then fired multiple rounds inside the building.

Authorities say no one was struck by the gunfire.

EMS took the man to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where he is expected to recover.
