Police are looking for a man they say shot another man early Thursday morning in New Lots.
The shooting happened inside 177 Sheffield Ave. at around 12:40 a.m.
Police say when they arrived, they found a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the buttocks.
EMS transported the man to Brookdale Hopsital where he is expected to recover.
Police sources say they are looking for a man wearing black sweatpants and a white shirt who fled north on foot on Pennsylvania Avenue.
There are no arrests at this time.
