The Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office says a man was arraigned on Monday and is facing an attempted murder charge for allegedly shoving another man onto the subway tracks at the 36th Street station.
Ivan Negron, 39, who officials say is homeless, allegedly pushed the 35-year-old just before 5 a.m. on Jan. 18 while he was standing on the southbound R train platform. The victim suffered a dislocated shoulder, according to court documents.
Authorities say EMS took the victim to NYU Langone Hospital/Brooklyn. He is expected to recover.
Police arrested Negron five days later.
Negron faces a slew of additional charges, including assault, attempted assault and harassment. He is due back in court on April 15.
