Madison Square Garden won’t be the only New York stage to get Jalen Brunson’s attention. The New York Knicks superstar, known for his clutch performances on the basketball court, is about to take on a totally different high-pressure gig—hosting “Saturday Night Live.”
A New Jersey native, Brunson will step onto the stage at 30 Rock to host the season opener of SNL on Sept. 26. The Knicks guard is the first member of the team to ever host the show.
Brunson will be joined on “Saturday Night Live” by girl group Katseye, scheduled to be the musical guest that night. The NBA star will be the first host as SNL begins its 52nd season.
