Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke to reporters about her testimony regarding Jeffrey Epstein. The hearing went on for hours Thursday in Chappaqua.

Clinton told reporters after the deposition that a lot of questions were repetitive and that near the end, they went in a strange direction.

"I don't know how many times I had to say I did not know Jeffrey Epstein. I never went to his island, I never went to his homes, I never went to his offices. It's on the record numerous times. It then got, at the end, quite unusual because I started being asked about UFOs," said Clinton.

That's just a snippet of the hours of testimony by Clinton, a deposition behind closed doors before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

"I think this was a productive deposition today. I think we learned a lot. There were a lot of questions that we asked that we weren't satisfied with the answers we got," said Rep. James Comer (R-KY).

It comes after months of this committee pushing for the Clintons' to testify in the committee's investigation into Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Comer said no one is accusing the Clintons of wrongdoing. Adding they're trying to understand things about how Epstein operated.

Committee members stressed Thursday the bipartisan nature of the investigation into Epstein.

However, Democrats voiced concerns, with some saying President Donald Trump should be before the committee.

"We want to understand right now, where the missing FBI files are. These are files that accuse the president of the United States about serious, serious allegations around sexual abuse," said Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA)

Clinton said she was disappointed the hearing wasn't made public.

Committee members told News 12 the recording and transcripts will be released soon, possibly within 24 hours.
