Forecast models are trending toward a storm closer to the tri-state area.

A closer track means a rainier and windier weekend is looking more likely. The coastal concerns remain and that's where we will see the greatest impacts.

There is a risk of coastal flooding during high tide. Rough surf and beach erosion will be ongoing. The winds along the coast will be strongest and can gust to 55-60 mph in spots.

Inland areas will see winds up to 30-45 mph.

This is still subject to change. Any change in the track and strength will change exactly what type of weather we will see locally.
