A Brooklyn man has been convicted for sexually exploiting minors, according to officials.
The Department of Justice says 31-year-old Billon McLeod was found guilty of seven counts of sexual exploitation of a child, attempted exploitation of a child and coercion and enticement of minors.
The department says McLeod used social media to groom four underage girls often posing as a teenager and striking up sexual conversations with them.
McLeod would then eventually convince them to meet him for sex inside of his Brooklyn apartment. In many of those instances, he would record it with those four victims ranging in age from 12 to 16 years old.
