City leaders are looking to hear from dog owners about new efforts to tackle a smelly problem.
The recently passed Scoop Act requires the Department of Sanitation to install at least 1,200 dog waste bag dispensers on trash bins across the five boroughs.
City Council members will be in Prospect Park Saturday to gather feedback from dog owners regarding those bins.
The event will run from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. near the picnic house.
Dog Mayor Simon and Deputy Dog Mayor Pepper Brown will also be attendance.
