A fire left six people hurt early Sunday morning in Canarsie, according to authorities.

Officials say the two-alarm blaze erupted around 3 a.m. on Conklin Avenue. Nearly 140 fire and EMS members responded to the three-story home.

Two people were hospitalized in critical condition. Two others were being treated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening as of Sunday afternoon.

Authorities say two firefighters were among the victims.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
