Police say a 17-year-old boy was killed in a shooting on Wednesday in East New York.

Ahmir Jordan, 17, was killed after he was shot in the head around 8:23 p.m.

Police say they responded to a call of an assault at 514 New Lots Ave.

The teen was found with a gunshot wound to the head in front of the home. He was transported to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police sources tell News 12 investigators are searching for two men in connection to the shooting. They were last seen dressed in all black, wearing surgical masks.

It’s still unclear what led to the deadly gunfire. The investigation is still ongoing.
